We are looking for a Clinical Consultant to join a world-class laboratory focused on cutting edge technology. The ideal candidate for this position holds an MD and/or meets the CLIA and state of California requirements for directing a high complexity laboratory. He or she will provide consultation to laboratory clients as needed, ensuring the highest level of customer support and interpretation of testing results.

• Provide medical opinions to the laboratory's clients concerning the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patient care.
• Provide consultation regarding the appropriateness of the testing ordered and interpretation of test results.
• Ensure that test reports include pertinent information required for specific patient interpretation.
• Ensure that consultation is available and communicated to clients on matters related to the quality of the test results reported their interpretation concerning specific patient conditions.

• MD licensed in California and/or possess a current, valid license issued by the State of California to direct a clinical laboratory. Minimum of two years of experience directing or supervising high complexity testing is preferred.
