Systems/Validation Engineer

The ideal candidate for this position provides an interface between chemists and engineers and participates in or leads a project team.
A bachelor's, master's or other advanced degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline (bioengineering etc.) is required. Some industrial experience is desirable. Must be conversant with the principles of physical and chemical processes. Exposure to programming is an advantage.

Requirements
- B.S. degree in engineering (Chemical, Biochemical, or equivalent) from one of the World's Top 50 ranked Technical Universities; a master’s degree preferred. .
- Experience with systems integration and software/hardware/chemical platforms.
- Compose well planned DOEs and meticulously execute experiments.
- Familiar with commonly exercised chemical laboratory techniques.
Additional Traits
- 1-2+ years prior experience in this job space.
- Driven.
- Able bridge disciplines and groups.
- Able to work independently.
- Able to learn on an entire system level (a tinkerer who likes to get hands dirty).
