Elizabeth Holmes has been CEO of Theranos since she founded the company in 2003. Holmes left Stanford University to build Theranos around her breakthrough patents and her vision of enabling individuals to take control of their health through real-time diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment of targeted ailments in a non-invasive fashion. She took the company from concept to reality, driving a major transformation in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries today.
